I tend to love him, especially when he's consumed by love, as he was in "Moonstruck" and is again right here. He sweats and squirms in the key scene, as he tries to elucidate to Parker that, sure, he loves her, but no, he can’t pay his poker losses, and so, yes, perhaps she ought to play along with this sinister gambler’s weird obsession. They are holding a convention at the Vegas resort when Cage and Parker check in, and provide a humorous backdrop for lots of scenes, before the massive payoff in which Cage, for causes far too complex to be defined right here, finds himself parachuting into Vegas at evening whereas dressed as Elvis. Jackie Chan is amazing as ordinary in the motion sequences, and Zhang Ziyi has hand-to-hand fight with Chris Tucker in a scene of great power. There are the standard Chan-style stunts, together with one where the heroes dangle above metropolis streets on a versatile bamboo pole. And a couple of these moments, over in a flash, where Chan combines grace, capability and timing (in one, he slips by way of a teller’s cage, and in another he appears to stroll up a scaffolding). Given Chan’s so-so command of English, it’s ingenious to construct a sequence that silences him with a grenade taped inside his mouth. Henry leads the digital camera through a crowded membership, calling out names because the characters nod to the digital camera or communicate to Henry. Typically the camera appears to comply with Henry, however at different instances it appears to represent his POV
