Ye Are Gods: Eyes That See

Today, we will explore Genesis 1:4 and what it means for us as children of God. The verse reads, "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." This passage emphasizes the importance of our perception and how it can influence our surroundings, help us overcome limitations, and establish God’s word in our current era. The verse reads, "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." This passage reveals the clear and explicit manifestation of faith.

Faith is not about denying reality, but an acute awareness of it. God's observation of His creation confirms the suitability and truth of His work. Despite being the Almighty, God's decision to look upon His creation demonstrates His profound interest in it. God's promises should not only be heard but also seen and experienced. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus urges us to let our light shine and inspire others to recognize our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven. Similarly, in Job 1:8, the devil appears before God asking if He has noticed Job's faithfulness. Spiritual beings, too, long to gain insights. Even the concept of salvation in 1 Peter 1:10 suggests that angels eagerly desire to understand it. The critical question here is: what do you see?

It's essential to be deliberate and conscious with our gaze. Everyone observes the world, but without intention, external forces may direct our attention towards trivial matters or vices that we ruminate on, engage in, or also participate in. Therefore, we must focus on things of eternal significance. The more we focus on something, the more we conform to its image. As we behold God, we are gradually transformed into His likeness by His Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).

To perceive the divine, we must cleanse ourselves and apply eye salves, as found in Revelation 3:18. This cleansing is essential to perceive the divine. If your focus is on negative aspects like gambling, immorality, despair, fear, and weakness, then you risk becoming enslaved by these vices. It's crucial to redirect your gaze, cleanse your vision, and open your eyes to the necessary light. Speak words of light into existence and observe their manifestation, not just in your life but also in your family and surroundings.

In conclusion, by aligning our vision with the light from the presence of the Shekinah, we can manifest positive change and personal growth. Let us awaken our inner god-like sight and behold the magnificent possibilities.

Let us pray, "Lord Jesus, grant me the ability to see and behold all that you have prepared for me. Remove any obstructions to my vision and reveal the blessings you have in store. I thank you for answering this prayer through Christ our Lord .
